We were on a road trip to Spain with our kids and only planned to stay for a few hours, but the peaceful atmosphere made us delay our departure. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and the accommodation was spacious and luxurious. The French feel of the place added to its charm, and the breakfast was excellent with homemade jams and desserts. The old school theme was a unique touch, and the enclosed parking area gave us peace of mind. We will definitely be back when we return to France.
I do recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Ecole de Rose are cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom featuring a refreshing shower. I loved having a separate seating area where I could relax and unwind. The view from the double room was absolutely stunning, making my stay even more enjoyable. As a beach lover, I was thrilled to find tea and coffee making facilities to start my day with a warm beverage. the rooms provided everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The only thing I liked less was the size of the double bed in the suite. However, this is just my personal preference and others might still find it comfortable.

The hosts were super cool and made us feel welcome. The rooms had this old school vibe which was really unique. We had a blast playing school yard games and chilling in the courtyard. The breakfast was homemade and delish! And the best part? There were loads of hiking trails nearby for adventurous teens like us!
The only thing we missed was a private party area where we could crank up the music and have a wild party with our friends. It would've been even more fun if there was a designated space for young party-goers.

The house and our room were so cool and cozy, we felt like we were in a movie. We had the best time exploring the surrounding areas on hikes, it was so beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was epic, with all these yummy local goodies. Our hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. We left feeling so chill and happy, already planning our next trip!
The only thing we would have wanted was a bit more night-time fun. Don't get me wrong, we had a blast during the day, but it would have been awesome if there were some cool activities for young party-goers like us in the evenings.

Renovated former school with passionate owners. Comfortable room, almost overslept. Superb continental breakfast with local food. Lovely hosts went out of their way to make us welcome, even drove us to a restaurant. Peaceful atmosphere in a beautiful location.

The location of the hotel is incredibly peaceful, allowing guests to relax and unwind. The breakfast is exceptional, with a variety of homemade jams and desserts to choose from. The owners go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, even offering to drive them to local restaurants. The renovated kitchen and dining area add to the charm of the old school building.
Although the secondary bed is best suited for young children, the main bed is large and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Ecole De Mathuna De Marigny Brizay. the owners, Rose and Thierry, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even drove us to a restaurant and picked us up afterwards. the renovated old school house, now known as "Ecole de Rose," is absolutely beautiful, especially the kitchen and dining area. the breakfast was amazing, with homemade jams, cake, and a delicious fruit salad. We loved that all the food was locally sourced. Our room was extremely comfortable and we had a restful night's sleep. We can't wait to return and explore the area further.
All good! 😊

The rooms at Ecole de Mathuna De Marigny Brizay are cozy and comfortable, with a seating area for relaxation. The private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer is convenient. The separate toilet adds to the privacy and convenience. As a business traveler, I felt at ease and relaxed in the room.
I personally would have preferred if the room had a view. However, this is a subjective opinion and others may still find enjoyment in the room without a view.
